Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information RaveJob (“we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. It covers both the contractors who use RaveJob and the customers who receive our review-request emails.
Information we collect
From contractors (our users): your name, business name, email address, phone number, business logo, review links, and billing details. Payments are handled by Square — we receive limited information (such as the last four digits and card brand) but never your full card number.
From contractors about their customers: when you add a job, we collect the customer’s name and their email address and/or phone number, plus the job type. We use this only to send the review request you asked us to send.
Automatically: basic usage and log data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages accessed) to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
- To provide the service — sending review requests on a contractor’s behalf, routing feedback, and showing results in the dashboard.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To provide support and send service-related messages.
- To maintain security and improve the product.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run RaveJob, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- Square — payment processing.
- Resend — email delivery.
- Cloudflare — domain, security, and email routing.
- Hetzner — server hosting.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Customers’ information and your choices
For the customer data a contractor provides, RaveJob acts as a service provider (processor) on that contractor’s behalf. Every review-request email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Once someone unsubscribes, we suppress their address and won’t send them further review requests.
SMS / text messaging
When a contractor enables text messaging, RaveJob may send that contractor’s customer one or two short SMS review requests on the contractor’s behalf after a completed job — for example, a thank-you with a link to leave a review. Customers provide their mobile number to the contractor at the time of service, or by scanning an on-site QR code and entering it on a RaveJob page. By providing their number they consent to receive these messages; consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency: frequency varies; typically one to two messages per completed job.
- Rates: message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out and help: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
- Mobile numbers are never shared: we do not share customers’ mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data is used solely to deliver the messages the contractor asked us to send.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your information, or ask us to remove a customer’s data, by emailing hello@ravejob.com. Contractors can update most details directly in Settings and can cancel and delete their account at any time.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify associated personal information within a reasonable period.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Children
RaveJob is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
